I completely and utterly recommend ProTeach Driving School! After years of on/off lessons and having never had the courage to take a practical test, Matt managed to get me through with only 2 minor faults and in a short space of time. ProTeach are the best I have come across and the quality of the teaching (and the unconditional patience) is bar none! Fantastic teaching style that even the least confident drivers will flourish under ProTeach instruction. Thank you for getting me through it! Anna Letteri – 13/06/2012

To maintain our very healthy 1st time pass rate, we recommend the following

  • Choose a lesson slot that you can keep to each week (keeping continuity helps speed your learning)
  • Taking your lessons in two hour sessions (this is so much more beneficial than taking single hours)
  • Ask your instructor lots of questions (they love helping you to answer them)
  • Every lesson will have a definite objective, there will be no “just driving around” like an aimless chicken
  • If you have been learning elsewhere, you will be amazed at our modern coaching style of approach
  • Regular recaps will be used to check your level of understanding
  • There is a real good reason why we are known as “the pass masters”
  • Don’t  just take our word for it , take a look at our local test successes and read what our customers have to say

There are many ways that driving schools will attract new students, some will offer free lessons, student discounts,  and all sorts of gimmicks.
You now have the task of sifting through all these offers, but remember that very few things in life are free and you generally get what you pay for. Are these offers really that cheap?
You have to ask yourself this question – Why do individuals or schools offer cut price lessons? It could be that they offer a cut price service, it could be that they are struggling for work, why is this if they are the cheapest in town?

After searching on google you will find many offers, prices as low as £90 for 10hrs, 4hrs for £24, 10hrs for £99. Sounds a bargain, but is it? Have you looked at the terms? Some of these offers have terms such as…
First 4hrs at the start of the driving remaining 6hrs for test day and 2 lessons before the test
First 6hrs at the start 4hrs for lessons before test and test.
Some schools say must book 2hr lessons.

Also terms like, if you cancel a lessons you lose remaining lessons. If you don’t have a lesson at least every 2 weeks you lose the remaining lessons. So this could end up you getting 4hrs for £90!

Also you need to ask will you even get to drive on the first lessons? Will the instructor limit the amount of driving time to keep the fuel bills down?

This is just an example of terms from some driving schools. Not all schools do this.

At ProTeach we have one offer.
