John is a fully qualified DVSA approved driving instructor at ProTeach, and gives the lesson in and around Derby, but also Burton on Trent  and Swadlincote. John gives driving lessons in his Peugeot 308.

Having served in the Armed Forces for 26 years and building up a career in driving and driving instruction, I decided to pass on my experience and knowledge by teaching driving as a full time occupation. I have experience in teaching learners of cars, articulated vehicles and forklift trucks across many different types of terrain.
Teaching is something I thoroughly enjoy and seeing my pupils progress and achieve their full driving licence is what makes the job worthwhile for me. My approach is to make lessons fun and interesting, using photo’s and diagrams to explain processes making it simple and easy to understand. Getting to know my pupils and building a good relationship is important to me, making learning a more relaxed experience and building confidence quickly. I consider myself to be friendly, reliable, patient and prompt with a good sense of humour and I can promise you that you will never hear me raise my voice !
